Philanthropic organizations are facing new and increasingly difficult challenges in the digital age.
Given the prevalence and sophistication of today’s cyber threats, many organizations lack the necessary capacities to address, identify, and manage, potential and actual risks.
It can be equally hard knowing how to balance expanding data needs and transparency, with the growing threat of cyber attacks in alignment with ongoing programming. Many foundations also lack information and resources to share with their nonprofit grantees and partners.
Please join us for a conversation moderated by David Goodman, Director of Impact at Fluxx, with Elizabeth Schwan-Rosenwald, Chief External Relations Officer at the Taproot Foundation, and Toni Maraviglia, Founding Team and Lead at Uptake.org. They will review the resources and guidance available to nonprofit organizations to better help them understand, manage, and address these critical and potentially devastating threats.

A recognized expert in pro bono service, Elizabeth has worked with companies, intermediaries and nonprofits in building, leading, and advancing the pro bono movement since joining the Taproot Foundation in 2009. With increasing demands on our nation’s nonprofit sector, Elizabeth is dedicated to bringing together corporate professionals and nonprofit executives to solve the infrastructure challenges that keep organizations from achieving full programmatic scale. TONI MARAVIGLIA | Founding Team & Lead at Uptake.org
Toni Maraviglia runs the Data Fellows Program and Student Union for Uptake.org. Prior to Uptake, she co-founded a pan-African education technology company called Eneza Education.
